I actually didnt believe it would cook cakes very well until I tried it myself - they were just great! As another reviewer mentioned, it is also possible to avoid the already simple cleaning process by lining the bowl with foil, plate or dish.
The JML oven doesnt really cook as quickly as advertised, but it does cook food far, far quicker than a conventional or fan oven. I would also thoroughly recommend the purchase of the accessory set as this greatly increase the ovens cooking capacity, but I wouldnt recommend buying the lid stand as the use of one of those thick cork table mats works fantastically, enabling the lit to sit directly on it (Ive used the same cork mat for over a year now and the heat from the lid hasnt burnt or even scorched it).
